AN UNEDITED E-MAIL SENT TO TAYYIBUN INSTITUTE: Asslaam Alaikum This is just a comment email. I was sat in a cafe near to your offices at Tayyibun Monday this was i recall. I was surprised to hear the conversation that was taking place. I have been muslim for 6months only. To be honest my wife has been reluctant until she herself heard the converstion taking place. The sister had visual problems and the woman with her was a teacher who had just taken her to the Tayyibun office to sort out an enrollment.

Ive seen the visually impaired lady on the streets of central london around 10yrs ago. Low and behold i would have never thought that she would become muslim. She never begged she ate off the streets and vanished at night. And now i see her again shes a muslim and so am i subhanalaah. She has additional needs (special needs as they say in education, a visual problem and some sort of learning difficulty caused by years on the streets).

The visually impaired sister had enrolled on and Arabic Language and Tajweed course according to the conversation.

The teacher was reassuring her that she would get the help and support because of the islamic sisterhood. That the teachers would ensure their was someone to support her in the class and deal with her anxieties and phobias. My wife and i sat their looking at each other and listened discreetly to the conversation. An orphan has got rights the teacher said to the lady. So these people at Tayyibun are well versed in the holy quraan so nobody will shout or tease her in any way. The reasurance went on and on about the rights of an orphan and the rights of an oppressed person.

The topic moved onto accountability on the day of judgment. The visually impaired sister was very worried that their are skills she doesnt have because she has been out on the streets and has been living indoors just a few months.

She said she knew tayyibun was a good place to study because everyone who talked about tayyibun had nothing but positive things to say.

Now what has this got to do with Tayyibun.. If the visually impaired sister did not turn up at Tayyibun on Monday. My wife and I would not have indirectly met her at the cafe and listened into this conversation. We went to the cafe to discuss seperation (divorce).

My wife was so moved by the conversation. And the trust the visually impaired sister had in Allah SWT. That my wife decided to declare her faith in Islam.

My wife declared her Shahadaah Today 1st of May 2009 Jazakallakairan to Tayyibun and to the sisters in question for saving my marraige and bringing my wife into islam.
